Meet Your Captain
I am a native of Melbourne, Florida. Growing up fishing and baseball was all I wanted to do. My mom first introduced me to fishing when I was 2 years old. I have learned a lot since then. No two days are alike. I have been fishing the Indian and Banana Rivers my whole life, searching for the best areas for snook, tarpon, and redfish. In addition to fishing, I love baseball. I was drafted by the Miami Marlins in 2015 and traded to the Los Angeles Angels in 2019. I played 7 years of professional baseball. I took my love of fishing to every city I played baseball in. I would love the opportunity to guide you through the mangroves that have given me amazing memories through the years. Instagram:Capt.RyanMcKay

More fishing FAQ's
HOW MANY PEOPLE ON A CHARTER?
Our charter rates cover 2 people fishing and a maximum of 4 people on the boat. We charge an additional $50.00 for the 3rd and 4th person. The 4 person limitation does not apply to our family-oriented sightseeing charters.
WHAT ABOUT FOOD?
You're more than welcome to bring lunch, snacks, and any additional drinks you may want. NO GLASS CONTAINERS.
WHAT IF I BRING MY OWN ROD?
We will be providing you with top-of-line Rod and reels. If you feel the need to bring your own gear, then you will need a 7-foot medium-heavy action rod with a fast tip. We will supply all lures, terminal tackle, and bait. We hate to see our clients bring a rod that is not heavy enough to handle a really big fish so be sure to check with us before you bring any tackle on your charter.
WHAT'S YOUR CANCELATION POLICY?
Deposits are fully refundable if excursions are canceled up to 72 hours prior to scheduled departure. Your deposit will be returned in full if Capt. Ryan feels that due to inclement weather the trip needs to be canceled and cannot be rescheduled to a later date.
CAN I KEEP THE CATCH?
We encourage catch and release.
DOES YOUR BOAT HAVE A RESTROOM?
No, but we are usually within 15 minutes of a restroom.
